Deepankar Sharma is a poet, author who writes primarily in English and occasionally in Hindi-Urdu. He was born in Jammu, J&K, and holds a BTech in Civil Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Srinagar. His debut novel, Sound of Love, was published internationally in 2019. Passionate about poetry, he can often be found performing his words to the almost extinct lot of poetry-lovers. He considers Oscar Wilde as the greatest influence along with a few other men and women who, he believes, shouldn’t be named.
